Clarification Needed on PMax Campaigns with Brand Guidelines in v18

Hi,

Google recently introduced brand guidelines for Performance Max campaigns. Since then, I’ve been facing an issue: I can no longer retrieve the business name from the Asset Group Asset Resource.

I can check whether brand guidelines are enabled for a campaign using this query:

SELECT campaign.brand_guidelines_enabled, campaign.name FROM campaign

However, I’m unable to get the business name or logo asset from the Asset Group Asset resource. I also tried looking into the Campaign Asset resource, but that didn't help either.

Additionally, in v18, I’m unable to create a new asset group if brand guidelines are enabled. I get the following error:

[BUSINESS_NAME]: Brand Guidelines is enabled. Performance Max campaigns with Brand Guidelines enabled must link business name and logo assets as CampaignAssets. [LOGO]: Brand Guidelines is enabled. Performance Max campaigns with Brand Guidelines enabled must link business name and logo assets as CampaignAssets.

According to the API documentation, creating an asset group requires both a business name and a logo when brand guidelines are enabled.

Could you please confirm:

1. Is it possible to create an asset group in v18 when brand guidelines are enabled?

2. How can we retrieve the business name and logo asset in this scenario?

Your help in clarifying this would be greatly appreciated.

You can create an asset group when the brand guidelines are enabled, I would recommend you to check this brand guidelines and Manual Migration guide for more information. You can retrieve business name and business logo can be fetched using campaign_asset resource. I would recommend you to check this documentation for more information.
