How to Get Low Account Balance Alerts via Google Ads API?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to receive low account balance alerts programmatically through the Google Ads API.

My goal is to proactively monitor my Google Ads account balance and get notified when it's running low. This would allow me to top up funds in time and prevent campaigns from being paused due to insufficient funds.

I'm wondering if there's a way to achieve low account balance alerts through the Google Ads API in any of the following ways:

• Is there a dedicated service or method within the Google Ads API dedicated to account balance alerts? I've reviewed the documentation but haven't found explicit mention of such a feature.
• Alternatively, is there a report or method I can call regularly to retrieve account balance information and set up alerts on my end based on that data? If so, which report or method should I use? And which fields should I be looking at to get the current account balance?
• Are there any other recommended approaches to monitor account balance and set up low balance alerts via the API?

Ideally, I'd like to be able to set a balance threshold, and receive a notification (e.g., via email or webhook) when the account balance drops below that threshold.

Any advice or guidance on how to achieve low account balance alerts through the Google Ads API would be highly appreciated!

• There is no service or method currently available through the Google Ads API to retrieve account balance alerts.

• This functionality is not currently supported via the Google Ads API.

3) Are there any other recommended approaches to monitor account balance and set up low balance alerts via the API?

• Currently, there are no alternative methods to monitor account balance and set up low balance alerts via the API. However, Google Ads offers Account Budgets, which allow you to control an account's spending over a specific period by defining budget properties such as spend limit, start time, and end time. These budgets must be linked to one of the account's billing setups to specify the Payments account to be billed. You can create, update, and remove AccountBudget by submitting AccountBudgetProposal objects. For more detailed information, please refer to this link.

Additionally, please note that whatever features are present in the Google Ads UI, only those features are possible via the Google Ads API.
