Am I allowed to use the API in this way:

I have developed a simple tool that generates keywords ideas (different ideas from the adwords tool). I want to show next to each idea the traffic estimation.

A. Am I allowed to use the API for this purpose?

B. If I give/sell this script to my clients (they install it on their own domain) is it still good?

Hi Ziv, 

If you sell the script to your clients. You don't have access to their accounts and your clients will only use it internally, meaning they use their own API token when they use the script you developed, then there isn't any restrictions on this type of tool. See Required Minimum Functionality policy.

So I guess it means the clients will have to go through all the procedure of obtaining the API key?

If I just sell the GUI but all communication with the API is done on "my side" with my API is it still ok? Will I have any limitations on the number of requests or something like that?

If I understand correctly, since I want to get traffic estimation to keywords I need to comply with these requirements:

Requirements for API Clients providing Targeting Idea Service or Traffic Estimation Service

If an AdWords API Client provides any functionality related to TargetingIdeaService or TrafficEstimatorService, it must fully implement the required Creation Functionality, Management Functionality and Reporting Functionality marked "Required" in the table below.

I have 2 questions:

1. What are the Creation Functionality, Management Functionality and Reporting Functionality?

2. Since my solution will only show traffic estimation, how will I demonstrate I have implemented #1? (am I missing here something?)
