Discovering creation date for Keyword, Ad, Ad Group, etc

Hi,

Is there any way to discover when a specific Adwords entity (Keyword,
Ad, Ad Group) was created? I know that you can discover a Campaign's
'start date', but AFAICT there is no way to distinguish between
1) an Ad that is 10 weeks old but gathered no statistics until two
days ago vs
2) an Ad that was /created/ two days ago.

Seems to me that this information is very important when comparing
performance of entities with different ages. Ad A may have twice the #
of clicks of Ad B solely because it is twice as old!

Hello Pete,

No, creation time information is not available either via the AdWords
API or the AdWords web interface.

You can obviously approximate this information moving forward by
doing periodic account snapshots using, for instance, AdWords API's
reporting functionality, and storing that information locally.

I wonder if the coming release of Adwords API can add creation dates
for such entities as creative, adword, campaign, keyword, and se
account?
This will help us provide more accurate reports to our customers.
