Hi,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

Regarding the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error, kindly note that this means that a system frequency limit has been exceeded. Its common cause is when sending too many requests in a short period of time. That said, I would recommend setting up short delays between requests or combining more operations in fewer requests to avoid the said error.

In addition, you may see our API Limits and Quotas documentation for more information about limits and quotas in the Google Ads API. Please see the Best practices guide to optimize the efficiency and performance and If you also want to know more about another limit in Google Ads API, then, you may refer to this Rate limit and System Limits documentation.

Hi,

I'm using a basic access developer token.
Only listing less than 50 campaigns and their recommendations.
Can you figure this exceeding 15k requests?

Hi Subin,

Thank you for the reply,

Could you confirm if you already considered setting up short delays between requests or combining more operations in fewer requests and considered applying for standard access? if still not, Here's the application form for standard access level.

You can also read more about access levels and their restrictions here.

Remember that the limit is 15,000 operations per day, not 15,000 requests per day, for basic access. So a single request with 150 operations will use up 1% of your daily quota.

On the other hand, if you still want to check the requests you have done. You may use the Google Cloud Console, you can view the list of methods and services to which your project recently submitted requests by following the guide below:

  1. Open the Dashboard page (found under APIs & Services) in the Google Cloud Console.
  2. Click on Google Ads API in the table.
  3. On the METRICS subtab, you should see your recent requests plotted on each graph. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the Methods table, where you can see which methods you’ve sent requests to. The method name includes a Google Ads API version, a service, and a method name, e.g.,
  4. google.ads.googleads.v11.services.GoogleAdsService.Mutate
  5. . In this way, you can also see all versions that you’ve used recently.
  6. (Optional) Click on the time frame at the top right of the page if you need to change it.

Best regards,
