Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

The error message "DNS resolution failed for googleads.googleapis.com: C-ares status is not ARES_SUCCESS" indicates that your device is unable to resolve the domain name "googleads.googleapis.com" using the C-ares DNS library. Could you please retry the request? If you're still facing an issue, could you confirm if you are observing this error consistently with all the API service calls? You may provide us with the complete API request and response logs with request ID and request header generated at your end.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Upon checking, I understand that you are facing the error message "DNS resolution failed" while making the API request. Could you please try the request again? If the issue persists, could you confirm whether this error occurs consistently with all the API service calls? Also, I would request you to provide us with the complete API request and response logs with request ID and request header generated at your end to better assist you further. Also, confirm the client library type that you are using in making the API request.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.

In future, if you have any further queries related to the Google Ads API, please open a new forum thread.
