Unable to sign Google Ads API Terms of Service (internal server error in API Center)

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble activating the Google Ads API for my account.
When I try to use the API, I get the following error:

Google Ads API: The developer must sign the terms of service. They can be found here: ads.google.com/aw/apicenter

However, when I go to the API Center to sign the Terms of Service, the page fails to load correctly and shows a server-side error instead (please see the attached screenshot).
The error includes several Java-related messages (GraphEnvironment, AbstractPromise, etc.), and I can’t complete the signature process.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Contacted Google Ads support through the standard interface — they said it’s out of their scope since the API is handled separately.

• Contacted googleadsapi-support and ads-api-compliance — both replied that they can’t help with this issue.

I assume I’m not selecting the right service when creating a support ticket, but I’m lost at this point.

Could someone please tell me which support channel or contact I should use to fix this issue and get the Terms of Service signed?

I understand that you are encountering the 'MISSING_TOS' error while working with the Google Ads API.

Terms and Conditions must be accepted in the API Center where your developer token is found. You would need to login as the MCC / Manager account that is associated with your developer token in order to complete the terms and conditions. I understand that you are encountering issues while you try to sign the Terms of Service in the Google Ads UI.

Note that the Google Ads UI related concerns are out of scope for the Google Ads API support team. Hence, please provide us with your Google Ads customer ID so we can route you to the appropriate support team.

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I confirm that I am logged in as the MCC / Manager account associated with my developer token (Customer ID: 287-504-3219). I am indeed accessing the API Center from this account.

However, when I try to sign the Terms of Service, the page displays a server-side error (Java stack trace) and the process never completes.

Could you please forward this case to the UI support team responsible for the Google Ads API Center interface?
It seems to be a backend issue preventing the Terms of Service from being accepted.
