Fix a disapproved ad via API

Hello  everyone,

Is it possible to appeal the decision to disapprove an ad through the API? 

Does the Google Ads API have any service that allows requesting a new review of the ad arguing the reasons?

Thank you for raising this concern to Google Ads API team.

Moving forward to your concern, the Google Ads API does have Policy Exemption Requests. Exemption requests allow you to automatically submit review requests for keywords and ads that trigger policy violations. In your case, you need these requests specifically for ads, then please follow these steps for requesting exemption for ads.

Thanks for your answer, however that functionality is not exactly what we need. In our case, these are ads that respects Google Ads policies, but are rejected due to a review error. Two typical examples for us would be ads disapproved for alcohol (but actually the image contains bottles of olive oil), or ads disapproved for phone numbers (but they don't, just prices and dates). 

In these cases, it takes a long time for us to go into the Google Ads platform and request the appeal individually for each ad. For this reason, being able to make the appeal via API would greatly facilitate the management of the ads and considerably reduce our time for publishing ads. It seems to us a very interesting functionality.

Hi Javier,

The API is able to handle exceptions for policies (e.g. exceptions for industry standards), but appeals are not supported. Please allow me to make a feature request on your behalf. New features will be announced in the release notes.
