Hi

We are looking to upgrade to V15 of the API to possibly support the EEA Consent.

We are currently using the official PHP library and to send user data offline using OfflineUserDataJobOperation and I was wondering if in the user data sent using create/remove, do we have to pass the consent value?

I've seen that we do when using OfflineUserDataJob but wanted to double check.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

Kindly note that it's an update to the Google Ads API v15 to send consent signals to Google to continue using Customer Match for users in EEA. When uploading data used in Customer Match lists in EEA, set consent signals in the consent field of customer_match_user_list_metadata in the OfflineUserDataJob object. This consent setting is for all the users uploaded in the job.

If you are still encountering the issue even after upgrading, then please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java.NetPHPPythonRuby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can send the details via the Reply privately to the author option or a direct private reply to this email.
