Does the order of the segment/dimensions in the request matter?

I am currently downloading shop performance report. There are a bunch of segments/dimensions that gets downloaded. What I have noticed is that the API download drops a bunch of records when compared to a report that is downloaded through UI with the same set of segments/dimensions and metrics.

1. Does the ordering of the segments matter when we download the data through API?

2. Is there a likelihood that the records are getting dropped when there are 0 values

Hi Raghu,

No, the order of segments or dimensions in the report definition shouldn't change the data downloaded from your reports. If you haven't set the includeZeroImpressions header to true, then the report will not include rows for which the requested stats are zero. You have to set this header to true to get zero impressions in the report output.

Could you provide the complete report definition used to download the Shopping Performance Report and also some sample reports that you are comparing? Please use Reply privately to author when you are responding.
