Google API Authorization Error

Hi, 

I'm hoping you can help. Since Friday, September 15th my client has been unable to pull revenue data through the Google API. they are receiving the following error message "authorization_error: The customer account can't be accessed because it is not yet enabled or has been deactivated." We have attempted to troubleshoot this issue on our own but have been unsuccessful.  We are unsure how to fix the issue.  Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are getting 'CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED' error which means that the customer account cannot be accessed because it is not in an enabled state. I would like to inform you that this is an authorization error usually occurs when the customer account hadn't finished signup or had been deactivated. I would recommend you to sign in to the Google Ads UI and ensure that you've completed the signup process for this account. For deactivated accounts, see Reactivate a cancelled Google Ads account.

Hi, 

Our Google Ads Account is not canceled, we still have access to our Google Ads Account but we are unable to pull data from the Google API. Each time we try we receive the following Error message: "authorization_error: The customer account can't be accessed because it is not yet enabled or has been deactivated." 

In addition the client has given the following request ID: 
Request IDs that failed:
Request with ID 'vf6PgIoOkaxge6DgxXFy1Q' has failed.
Request with ID 'I4mltEYFYgT8k7270hx6zA' has failed.
Request with ID 'TLCiuECJFRRWdlRtPvptzg' has failed.

Please let me know if I can supply you with any additional information. The Google Ads CID is 897-622-4664.

Hi Michelle,

Thank you for getting back to us.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that your Google Ads account is active and you still have access to it. However, despite this access, you are encountering an ongoing 'CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED' error when attempting to retrieve data from the Google Ads API.

In order to investigate your issue further, kindly provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) along with the uncropped UI screenshot generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java.NetPHPPythonRuby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.
