Does GoogleAds API support fetching SHOWCASE_AD

Hi,

I'd like to get SHOWCASE_AD through GoogleAds API, but I found the migration guide mentioned that this ad type is not supported. 

Could you please confirm about that? Will GoogleAds API support SHOWCASE_AD in the future?

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, this ad type is not supported in Google Ads API. As mentioned in the migration guide here, this ad type is being phased out and will not be supported.

Google Ads API currently supports Shopping Product Ads and Smart Shopping Ads. You can keep an eye on our Developer Blog and release notes for information on future releases.

One more question please. After the AdWords API sunset, is there any other kind of API that can be used to manage/fetch/create showcase ad?

Hi Dongqi,

No, there are no other APIs that support this ad type. However, there are no immediate plans to sunset AdWords API. It will be at least a year after Google Ads API reaches full feature parity.
