Performance Max campaign data not returned from 'landing_page_view'

Hi,

I am trying to pull campaign-level data from 'landing_page_view', but the attached query is not retuning any records for Performance Max campaigns, despite the data existing in the Google Ads interface (Landing Pages report). 

I did not see anything in the documentation suggesting this data is not available through the API. This issue occurs when using v9 and v10 of the Google Ads API.

Please advise.

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API support. Unfortunately, the query you shared, over there most of the fields are not a valid field in the SELECT clause when “landing_page_view” is the resource in the FROM clause. Fields in the SELECT must be 'Selectable'. Feel free to use the Google Ads Query Builder for the query validation.

Could you please confirm if you are looking for Performance Max campaigns reporting via API? If yes then you can use GoogleAdsService.SearchStream to retrieve attributes and performance metrics for Performance Max campaigns reporting FROM campaign resource. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your response. The Google Ads Query Builder returned the attached query was returned as a valid query. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

To confirm, I am looking for Performance Max campaign performance via API at the landing page level. The Landing Pages report contains performance data for Performance Max campaigns, so I assume this data is also available via API. Can Performance Max data be retrieved from the 'landing_page_view' resource?

Hi Kyle,

I work with Sabrina and will assist you. Performance Max campaigns don't have ad groups and you are segmenting by the ad_group resource. According to our Selectability between segments and metrics guide adding asegmenting ad_group field tells the API only return rows where there are ad_groups.
