Unable to set maximize_converions bidding strategy

Hello,

I am trying to set maximize conversion as bidding strategy of campaign using PHP library  but it is throwing an exception 'UnexpectedValueException' with error message 'Invalid message property: maximize_converions'.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Thank you for reporting your error to us. Could you send us a 'DEBUG' log level request and response log of raw API communications that got this error?

The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST documentation with additional headers and information such as request Id. Here are logging instructions for our PHP Ads API Client Library.

You may send the requested information via "Reply to author" or via googleadsa...@google.com with a link to this forum post added to the new thread.

I've tried logging but it seems like error is occurring before executing request so I could not log request and response details.

Here is what  I am getting in my laravel's log file in case if this can help.

"ERROR: Invalid message property: maximize_converions {"userId":197333,"exception":"[object] (UnexpectedValueException(code: 0): Invalid message property: maximize_converions at vendor/google/protobuf/src/Google/Protobuf/Internal/Message.php:1063)"

Unfortunately, our team is unable to investigate further since complete request and response logs are needed for further investigation.

Also, Could you confirm that you followed the guidelines provided by my colleague Aryeh? if yes, could you please provide the complete request and response logs, with the request-id? Since you are using the Python client library, you may use this PHP client library logging guide so that a complete request and response will be generated on your end. Once you get the complete request and response logs, then you may send them to us so we can continue our investigation.

I've checked https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs/php/logging guide and add custom logger with my  GoogleAdsClientBuilder() but it's not logging anything. That I think is because error occurred before request execute.

If possible please provide example code for logging request and response.

Thank you for the reply. It appears that this concern is more specific in the client library so we will recommend that you reach out to PHP client library owners via posting an issue on this github tracker as they are more equipped to provide guidance on this issue.
