Ad label data extraction

Hello Team,

I want to extract the ad label data along with date and cost using google ads api. How can i extract the same. Have attached a google ads reporting UI screenshot below:

Also i want to extract the keyword label report as below

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

You can use the 'ad_group_ad_label' resource to extract the ad label data. Please note that, segments.date and cost metrics fields are only available in performance-based reporting resources like campaign, ad_group, ad_group_ad, etc. They are not available in ad_group_ad_label because this resource only stores the relationship between ads and labels. It does not track performance metrics like cost, impressions, clicks, or conversions over time, which is why segments.date and cost metrics are not relevant.​

Below is the query for your reference. Please replace 'xxxx' with the appropriate value based on your requirement. ​

Query:"SELECT ad_group.id, campaign.id, ad_group.name, campaign.name, label.name, ad_group_ad.labels, 
ad_group_ad_label.label, ad_group_ad_label.resource_name, ad_group_ad_label.ad_group_ad 
FROM ad_group_ad_label WHERE campaign.id IN (xxxx, xxxx) AND label.name = '"'"'xxxx'"'"'"

And for the second query regarding the keyword label, Our team has already made a feature request for this subject for review. Please note that the request is not a guarantee if this feature will be supported in the API soon. For now, please do follow our blog post and release notes for you to be updated when it will be supported.

Additionally, you can utilize the Google Ads Query Builder and Query Validator to build and validate the queries for retrieving the data from the Google Ads API.

Hi,

As mentioned earlier, please note that retrieving the labels at the keyword level or (Label (Keyword)) column is not yet supported in the Google Ads API. We have raised a request to add this feature to be available in the Google Ads API. We cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this feature in the Google Ads API. I would recommend you to follow our Release Notes and Blog Post for future updates.
