DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error for test account

Hi,

I am trying to get the list of campaigns and I am getting the error DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED. I am running this with my test credentials and from my test ads account. Could someone please assist me with this issue?

Hi Teresa,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED you're getting means you are trying to access a production account with an unapproved developer token. To test with the AdWords API, you need to use a test client account which should be under a test manager account. You can follow the steps outlined here to create the accounts. Once created, please use the clientID and clientSecret generated from an email address of your test account,.
