Is there a way to use the gclid of a conversion to retrieve the Account ID it belongs to? I'm looking for a method or best practice that can help me link these gclids back to their respective accounts effectively, considering I have numerous accounts to manage.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you want to use the gclid of a conversion to retrieve the Account ID.

I would recommend you refer to this help center article on Set up offline conversion imports using Google Click ID (GCLID) for more information related to your query.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello,

Ok, thank you, I decided eventually to make conversion adjusts by order id.

Now I have another problem. I'm trying to make offline adjust for conversions done online, and getting NO_CONVERSION_ACTION_FOUND error.

The value of my conversionAction is:

customers/{customer_id}/conversionActions/{conversion_action_id}

When customer_id is the account of the relevant ad (not the MCC), and conversion_action_id is the ctId.

I tried some another options for these params, but nothing helped. Maybe am I missing something important?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to us.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are facing issues with conversions of your Google Ads.

In order to assist you further, could you please provide us the uncropped UI screenshot of the issue you are facing along with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java.NetPHPPythonRuby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.
