Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

We would like to inform you that this product officially offers support in only English. It would be best to reply in English if you can. If not, we will try to use Google Translate to support you as best as we can.

After reviewing your Google Ads account (464-356-4947), I can confirm that this is a client account, not a manager account. This is why the API Center is not visible in this account. Kindly note that the API Center is available only in production manager accounts. If this is a test account, keep in mind that test accounts are closed by default and cannot run ads or set up billing information. For more details, I would recommend you to refer to the "Obtain a developer token" documentation for more information.

If you're using a client account, you can view any associated manager accounts by navigating to Tools & Settings > Access and Security > Managers. Upon navigating to this path in your account, I could see there are currently no manager accounts linked to your client account.

To apply for a developer token, you must do so from a Google Ads Manager account (MCC). If you do not yet have a manager account, I would suggest to create one by following this help center article. Once your manager account is set up, you can link it to your client account and proceed to apply for the developer token. If you already have a manager account, please ensure it is properly linked to your client account before applying for the token. You can find guidance on linking accounts in this help center article.

I hope this clarifies.

Thanks,

Dear Google Ads API Support Team,

Thank you very much for your kind and detailed explanation.

However, I’m still having difficulty understanding how to create a manager account using the email address arti...@gmail.com. I’ve searched extensively, but I couldn’t find a clear step-by-step guide. I also came across some mentions that creating a manager account may be restricted due to account limits. If that is the case, could you please confirm whether this limitation applies to me?

As I’m not very experienced with Google Ads, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide more detailed instructions on how to create a manager account and proceed with linking it to my client account.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to your guidance.

Best regards
jiwon

Hi,

Please note that all manager accounts can be linked to a maximum of 85,000 non-manager accounts including both active and inactive/canceled accounts.

I would recommend you refer to this Manager Accounts (MCC): About account limits for manager accounts help center article for more detailed information.

Additionally, If you’ve just recently begun using your manager account and don't have 12 months of spend yet, the spend data that's currently available for your account will be used to determine your maximum account limit. If you have no spend at all, your account limit will automatically be set at 50.

As mentioned earlier, I recommend checking this MCC account help center article for creating a new Google Ads Manager account and then go through this link your client account to MCC account for linking it to your client account. Additionally, If you are using Google Ads API for the linking, you can refer this Linking to Manager Accounts API documentation.

Thanks,
