Labels field, Invoice Description field

Hello - 

We are looking a couple of data points via the API and as yet, have not been able to locate them. The first is the Labels field that appears on the Manager Account Report via the API and have not been able to see where that field can be obtained. Is it available and if so, in what report would that be found?

The second is the description that appears on the invoice. We do understand that the invoice is not currently available via the API but am hoping tha tthe description field is.

Hi, 

You can use AccountLabelService to create and manage labels that can be applied to managed customers and LabelService to manage labels that can be attached to campaigns, ad groups, creatives, criterion and etc. You can also use the Label Report to get all labels for your account. 

If you are looking for the descriptive name of an AdWords account, you can use the AccountDescriptiveName and CustomerDescriptiveName fields in Account Performance Report.

Hello - 

Thank you for the prompt reply. I realize I was not very clear in my question. We are in need of the labels as they are associated to advertiser accounts and campaigns as we see in the Manager Account Report available in the UI.  These labels help us allocate advertisers to one of our clusters, amongst other things. Our dev team has reviewed the API documentation and has not seen where it can be pulled but perhaps it's been overlooked?

Hi Devi, 

You'll need to make a request to AccountLabelService to get the account labels and LabelService to retrieve the TextLabel applied to your campaigns. You can retrieve the labels applied to client accounts by querying for AccountLabels using ManagedCustomerService. Only labels owned by the requesting manager will be returned. To change the list of labels applied to an AdWords account, you need to use ManagedCustomerService.mutateLabels.
