How to associate extension to account on create extension

Hi,

I want to associate extensions to account like ads app does but I cant see how is it. In documentation exists an serving_resource_targeting field but it can only be setted to campaings or ad groups.

How can I set extension to account? If I do not anything, I create extension and I filter extensions by associations this is not showed because it isnt associate neither account nor campaign nor ad group.

Can you help me?

Hi Antonio,

In order to create an account level extension, you must use the CustomerExtensionSettingService. This example provides how to create an extension then associate it with a campaign. You can use this as a reference since the workflow for these services is identical. Please let me know if you face any issues.

Im using REST, not any client library because im using NodeJs.

In any case, I cant see in that example how to associate an extension to any ACCOUNT, not a campaign or ad group as I told you in the first message. 

I want to associate with an ACCOUNT (Cuenta).

Hi Antonio,

Unfortunately, we currently do not have a specific example for your requirement. As my colleague Anthony suggested earlier, you will need to use the CustomerExtensionSettingService to directly associate an extension at the account or customer level.

Since you are also using REST, you will have to derive or construct your request by referring to the below helpful documentation :
