Custom Columns via Ads API

Hi,

Is there a way to get the custom columns via API or any other automated way? 

And if it is not available via API, Is there another way we can approach fetching a scheduled report generation including custom parameters? Scheduling report on Google Ads UI, only sends report URL in the email, it needs manual work to download the custom report. We were planning to fetch custom reports programmatically via API but custom columns not coming and SELECT * does not work .

Any plan to adding custom column attribute to API?

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your query, I understand that you want to query custom columns using Google Ads API which were created in the Google Ads account. Kindly note that the "custom columns" feature in the Google Ads UI is not yet available in the Google Ads API. I'll raise a feature request to be available in Google Ads API. I cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this feature in the API. I would recommend you to please follow our Release Notes and Blog post for future updates.
