Text Capitalization in Display Ads

Hi, 

Could you provide me with guidelines regarding the capitalization restrictions for Text Assets in Responsive Display Ads?

I don't understand the pattern that sometimes let's me use multiple capitalized letters for headlines, descriptions, etc, but when i use all uppercase letters or something like that it throws an error.

It would be great if you could share with me those information.

Hi Filip,

Your query has reached Google Ads/AdWords API support. The API can only be a conduit for the product, if you found a discrepancy in acceptance of capitalized ads between the product and the API then we are the support channel that can address your issue.

For general questions on what's allowed in an ad you can reach out to product support.

If you find a discrepancy, could you privately send us a request and response log of API communication that demonstrates this along with a full screenshot of the UI?  

In the Ads API the request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST documentation. Our client libraries have loggers with logging instructions, to see these instructions you can click on the client library you use in the sidebar of our client library guide and click on "Logging".

In the AdWords API , then a request looks like the 3rd section in request and a response looks similar to response. Logging instructions are in the read.me on Github of each client library.

Setting the logger to 'DEBUG' will get the desired log.
