I would recommend you refer to this guide on "
fetch a refresh token" for the steps in generating the refresh token. This guide uses the oauth2l command instead of curl to fetch the OAuth 2.0 refresh tokens. If you prefer to use curl or your own HTTP client instead, refer to the
OAuth 2.0 for Mobile and Desktop Apps guide for an example.
You can check this guide on "
obtain a developer token" for more information on when you need a developer token and the steps to apply for it.
Google Ads client account: This is the account you're making API calls against. You need necessary permissions to operate on this account, such as fetching reports or making changes to campaigns. You also need the 10-digit account number of the account you're making API calls to. This is displayed in the Google Ads web interface in the form 123-456-7890. This account number is passed as a parameter to the Google Ads API call without the hyphens: 1234567890.
