availability of Detailed Demographics audiences in AdWords reports

Based on several forum posts on the topic, as of last year it was not possible to find "Detailed Demographics" audience performance metrics in the AdWords reports/APIs.

I wanted to confirm whether this was still the case. (I suspect so, because I see these audiences in Google Ads but not in the AdWords Audience Performance Report.) If so, is there a public issue tracker where I can follow the progress of this feature request?

Hi Howard,

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the "Detailed Demographics" feature is still not available in AdWords API and we are no longer planning on updating this request. Our top priority right now is to get the new Google Ads API ready for general availability. As such, we aren't planning on adding enhancements to the AdWords API, but we will continue to fully support it, and address any bugs as they are found. For more information on the state of the Google Ads API, please read the blog post here. If this feature does become available, you can expect it on Google Ads API only.
