Upcoming changes to AdWords OAuth Scope

I was reading the developers blog and it mention changes to the OAuth Scope.  Could you please provide instruction on how to find out what scope I'm using.  The developer who wrote the code for this is no longer with the company.  I can not find anything in our code that looks like the post on the AdWords blog regarding OAuth Scope.

I look at the following links, but they were not helpful.
