migrating to the Google Ads API. https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v9/segments#segments.device When using device, ad_group_criterion is not included in Selectable With, is it correct not to provide it? So, how can I get criterion_id when device is included in keyword_view ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would recommend that you use the Google Ads Query Builder and Query Validator tools for constructing queries. Upon checking, apparently it is valid to include the fields you mentioned. Below is an example query from the above tools :

SELECT segments.device, keyword_view.resource_name, ad_group_criterion.criterion_id, metrics.conversions, metrics.cost_micros, metrics.clicks, metrics.impressions FROM keyword_view.

That said, you may try out the above query and write back to us should you have additional clarifications.

I'm appreciate to your response.
But I'm afraid that wasn't the expected answer.

If I use the device field, I'm removing some items which is not supporting with the device field for the convenient use.
The ad_group_criterion doesn't seem to belong to the among Selectable With since it has been got rid of from the action I describe about the convenient use.

Please check if the ad_group_criterion is one of the Selectable With of device

Thank you for providing more details to your concern.

I tried to use the query validator, GAQL builder for keywords and create a report on my test account which using device segment and ad_group_criterion, and I can see no error with this combination. With this, allow me to create a feature request to my team to update the device segment document to include the ad_group_criterion there, subject for review.

Please keep an eye on that document for this specific update. Please follow our blog also to receive updates and new releases.

Please double check these items which are segments.ad_network_type and segments.conversion_action. 

Those caused the same issue of the ad_group_criterion
