Hi,

I followed the instructions per the documentation, but I am getting missing modules error when I try to use the client.

#from googleads import adwords

import google.ads.google_ads.client

def main(client, account_id, date):

    print account_id

    print date

if __name__ == '__main__':

    g_verbose = True

    parser = OptionParser()

    parser.add_option("-d", action="store", dest="date")

    parser.add_option("-a", action="store", dest="account_id")

    (options, args) = parser.parse_args(sys.argv[1:])

    # Initialize client object.

    path = '/home/dbadmin/google_ads/google_ads/google-ads.yaml'

    adwords_client = adwords.AdWordsClient.LoadFromStorage(path=path)

Error

import google.api_core.grpc_helpers

ImportError: No module named api_core.grpc_helpers

Note: I performed pip install google-ads, but is there a way to install all the dependencies of google-ads as well as part of the pip install?

Output of pip freeze | grep google

google-ads==2.0.0

google-api-core==1.10.0

google-api-python-client==1.7.8

google-auth==1.6.3

google-auth-httplib2==0.0.3

google-auth-oauthlib==0.3.0

googleapis-common-protos==1.5.10

Python 2.7.13

Thanks,

Vinod

Hi Vinod,

Thanks for reaching out. However, your concern appears to be related to the Python client library. That said, you could open your concern to the Python GitHub Issue tracker as the client library owners are better equipped in assisting you with your concern.

Dannison
