custom report file is empty

Hello,

I have been running the report service requesting a custom report job
for over a month and it has worked great.
Today however, I have attempted three times and report that downloads
is empty.
If I pull up the report on adwords on the adwords website the report
has data. So I know the requested completed and there is data.
Have there been any changes or erros with the "get report download" on
the api?
Anyone else having the same issue?
I am using a web service with VB.NET.

I have the exact same problem. Not to worry through, 2 months from now, when you will pay $.25 for this same report, this will "never" happen...

I stepped through the code and everything fine. This time the file
downloaded about one third of the data it should. Betterr some than
none I guess. It is almost like google is timing out.

I have a custom report that worked on Friday, but now returns an empty
XML set. I have a keywords report with the same issue...

The report generated by the API is downloaded empty, however when you look at this report through the adwords interface, it is not empty, so it seems to be a download issue...

I have got exactly the same problem. Downloads via API (php/apility)
fail, but the custom reports show up at the 'Client Reports'.

Yep same here. Behavior is not the same for all accounts though, some
just work fine, others have empy XML files.

Hi,

I also expereinced empty XML reports returned by Google today. Although
the situation seems a bit different. When we download report using API
from our Pakistan office, it went very well and we got the required XML
data fro google. But the same peice of code not working in our UK
office and returning an empty report. Donno why this is happening ? any
one's help is most welcome.

1- It seems that XML files after download doesn't not contains content.

2- The Connection URL also showing the different file status (File size
at google : 0) which we use to get (File size at google : -1) since
long time.

We have various servers in different locations. The requests from our
various servers get routed to different Google servers. It appears
some Google servers, like the ones our dev servers get routed to,
correctly return the report data while the servers our live servers get
routed to fail. Namely the Google servers in Chicago and San Jose.

We've also been experiencing BOTH the "zero filesize" and the
"incomplete file" problems these last two days, and have also had the
partial file problem a few times in the past as well. Something is
clearly not right with the service.

According to the post of Rohit Dhawan, the Reports are fixed now. I ran
a report, and I can confirm this.

Hopefully this was a 'one time' glitch, we can't afford much of these
problems. But for the moment, I'm happy !
