Not exactly the case but its the simplest way to describe it....

Example:

3 customers have individual Adword accounts and each of them wants me to track earnings and clicks etc....

I expect they need to give me a key? for access?

and then I need a developer key?

(not sure if you guys call them keys, but some form of authorization)

Thanks!

Hi Richard,

You will need to create your own Google account (or any existing google/gmail account not yet associated to any AdWords accounts) and use its email to request for access for each of their accounts to monitor the information they require, for more information, kindly refer here. Additionally, if you wish to monitor their accounts using the AdWords UI, the access they grant you should be enough.

However, if you wish to use the AdWords API, you will require a developer token (you may request your client to provide you their developer token) and you will need to generate your OAuth2 credentials such as the clientId and clientSecret. Please note that these credentials should be created using the email address you requested access for.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have additional concerns.

Best regards,
Peter
