Hi Team,

We are currently creating custom audience by uploading audience data onto google ads. And we have solution in place where in we enhance our audience data before uploading to google by adding additional email to PII information which we call it email append. Can you let us know does Google Ads supports this feature or what are the match rate differences we get when we add more email ids to PII records in an audience file.

Thanks,
Rameeth

Hi Rameeth,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

With regards to your concern, you need to ensure that the correct formatting and hashing are followed as per this guide (link below). You can refer to the below item from our customer match considerations section on what affects the reflected size:

  • A list may appear to be smaller than expected when viewed in the Audience Manager in the Google Ads UI. This view shows the number of active users in the list. A user is considered active if they have recently logged into their Google account. For more information on active users, see this discussion on how to troubleshoot low traffic with Customer Match lists.

Moreover, you may refer to our Custom Audiences documentation to help you reach your ideal audience by entering relevant keywords.

However if this is not what you are looking for, please note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Meaning by using the Google Ads API, you can get and manage the data that you are seeing in the UI. With that being said, can you provide us with the full (not cropped) screenshot of the Google Ads UI data that you want to perform in Google Ads API?
