Ads API application took 6 months for review - rejected for simple reason

Dear all,

we tried getting access to the Google Ads API in October 2023. We forgot about the application. Last week, we received an e-Mail out of the blue, stating that our request was denied because we already have API access for the company that we filled out the application form for.

The last part is true, that company already had access.

However, we are now working on a different project for another company and filled out the application form 7 days ago. On the application form there is a statement saying

​There is no rush to apply. Provided that each question has been thoroughly addressed, applications are typically reviewed within three business days, with an initial decision processed soon after, though some complex reviews may take longer.

​We were wondering if these three business days are still valid or if we have to expect another waiting period of bearly half a year(!).

We handed in an application for MCC 120-113-814
