Google API SCope

Hi, 

we are trying to upload store sales when i try to run the code thats in the article 

https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/conversions/upload-store-sales-transactions

i am getting an ACCESS_TOKEN_SCOPE_INSUFFICIENT error.

in the error headers i saw its looking for below scopes 

 scope=\"https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/ https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm\""

but when i try to update the scope i dont see any values that starts with https://adwords

 

if they are deprecated  what scopes should i have in order to upload  data for store sales.

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

I could see that you are encountering the "ACCESS_TOKEN_SCOPE_INSUFFICIENT" error when using the Google Ads API. To resolve this issue, please ensure that your access token has the requested authorization scopes of access. You can check the scopes associated with your access token by visiting the Google Developers Console. 

That being said, uploading your store sales data requires the following OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords

Since you can't find the scope you would like to add in the table you can scroll down and enter the above OAuth 2.0 scope in the field under "Manually add scopes" and then click "ADD TO TABLE". I would recommend you refer to this guide for more information on how to configure the OAuth consent screen.

Hi,

I would recommend that you try using the OAuth 2.0 Playground to generate the refresh and access tokens. Select the scope as Adwords API and authorize API using your account. Exchange the authorization code for tokens. Now, you may configure your request and make the API call.
