What level of access required to obtain Google Ads API Key?

Hi,

I want to apply for an API Key for Google Ads API for the purpose of custom reporting.

When I filled in the form at MCC level I got this message:

"The user does not have permission to perform this action"

So I'm wondering what level of access does my account need?

• Screenshot where the error was encountered
• Could you confirm if you're accessing the application form directly from the API center and encountered the said error?
• Could you confirm what access level the user you are currently logged as?
