api vs web app differences in values

I have slight differences in the values between those shown on the web application and those pulled from the api.

The data in question is more than a month old so "data freshness" is a non-issue. The data is simply "Users" in a given country. Even if the country filter is removed, the data has a discrepancy.

Please assist.

Sorry for the late reply! I'm hoping you can still take a look.

Below is the number of users for the month where country is United Kingdom. This is taken from the api.

2018/08 12870

2018/09 18500

When I apply the filter of country on google analytics, use month as a dimension and look at the number of users I get numbers higher than this.

The client customer ID is 69560578.
