Hi!

I am trying to retrieve data from campaigns via Google Ads API using official Google Ads Client library from here:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs/dotnet

And I have a question:

Does this client library have an oportunity to set access token in runtime without providing client id and client secret? I want to pass only access token (NOT REFRESH TOKEN) and devloper token, like in a simple REST request.

I was searching here https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs/dotnet/configuration, but I did not find the answer.

Could you please help with it?

Thanks,
Vitalii

Hi Vitalii,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads Product Support.

With regards to your concerns, in general, the OAuth2 client ID and client secret map your client app to a project in the Google API Console and are used for OAuth2 authentication—enabling your app to operate on behalf of your account.

If you haven’t created your client ID and client secret you may see the documentation below on how to create a client Id and client secret. Please note that, you will need your client ID and client secret to configure your client library.
