Ad Extension Report via API

Hi,

I want to download via API, the exact same data that is in the Google Adwords DashboardUI as "Extensions".

In the UI, it is listed as "Ads & Extensions" > tab "Extensions" .

Can you help us understand what report performance API will provide me that data?

Thanks for posting your concern.

Please clarify if you want to use the Google Ads API and AdWords API for retrieving the data in "Ads & Extensions" > tab "Extensions" UI.

If you will use Google Ads API, then the report that you can use is extension_feed_item as it is the correct mapping in the said UI according to this document. You can refer to this document to read more information about Google Ads API reporting.

For AdWords API, you can use the Placeholder Feed Item Report or Placeholder Report as it is the equivalent report of the specific UI based on this document. Additional information for these reports, the PlaceholderType field and ExtensionPlaceholderType can be filtered by the Placeholder Type ID to filter by extension type as in the UI.
