Hi,

Is there any restrictions where I cannot set the bid modifier for demographics such as Gender, parental status, Age Range, Income range?

Like It is allowed for only few campaign Type or Adgroup Type to set bid modifier?

I was getting error:

Request with ID 'ARYRo9DTmXu6MKZkIKzQ-g' has failed.

Google Ads failure details:

mutate_error: Resource was not found.

Thank you for posting your concern.

You may refer to this document as it shows which criteria is available for specific campaign types and entities.

As for the error that you've mentioned, it appears that it is not related to the issue of compatibility between the criteria and entities' types. This is related to the resource that could not be found because of the incorrect IDs that were set in the resource name field.

With this, so that I can further investigate, could you provide the customer ID and the complete request and response logs (with the request-id) generated on your end where we can also see this error? Please provide it via Reply privately to author option.

Hi there,
we are also facing this issue while modifying bid adjustments (device, gender or age range).

The resource name seem to be correct, (cross verified by making a query call using Google ads api with same resource name)

Also, let me please know where do I need to share requested operations as well as response logs...

Hi Arshdeep,

Google Ads API worked little different then Adwords API.

Resource was not found, issue comes when making mutate request on resource which are not ENABLED.

You should check the status for resource before performing Mutate Operation. If the status is “REMOVED”, you need to “ENABLED” it.
