Budget History

Hi Everyone,

Is there any possibilities to get from the Google Ads API the information about the budget amount of a campaign for specific dates? Actually I am getting only the actual value for all the past dates.

Hi Daniel,

You could download this report using the Google Ads API by selecting the campaign_budget and the campaign field attributes at the same time. However, the date field is not filterable to specific dates with the campaign_budget field selected. Hence, you will be only able to retrieve results with no date filters applied. You could refer to this guide on how to pull reports.

What about bid history? I mean, can I get the max cpc I set for a campaign, adgroup or keyword one month ago, for ex.?

Hi Marcos,

To get the cpc of an ad group and a keyword, you could try and use the fields ad_group.cpc_bid_micros and keyword_plan_keyword.cpc_bid_micros and use the segment.date to filter out to get the equivalent value for a specific date. As for the campaign level, you could use the campaign.percent_cpc.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros field.

You could try this out and let me know if you have further clarifications.
