This announcement mentions that stats will no longer return in the display keyword report starting on 2/17/2019 (should be 2020?).

Just for clarity, the report itself will still be accessible but will not return stats for search campaigns on the display network, correct?  Is there any plan to deprecate this functionality for display campaigns as well?  It also mentions that it's not possible to "meaningfully and consistently attribute" stats to keywords.  Does that statement apply to current stats retrieved from this report, or only to future stats (that we won't have access to due to this deprecation)?

Hello,

Thank you for pointing this out to us. We have contacted the team internally to update the blog post to reflect the date correctly. For your concern, the report itself will continue to be accessible but it will not return the display keyword stats for Search campaigns with Display Expansion. We do not have any update to share if the functionality for display campaigns will be deprecated. Please keep an eye on our blog post for future updates and announcements. Also, the statement indicates that the view to attribute stats to keywords has been removed from the Google Ads UI to improve targeting for these campaign types and will be applied to future stats retrieved in the reports. Let me know if this clarifies your concern.

Regards,
Nikisha Patel, Google Ads API Team
