Email and Password with Developer Token

So I have been approved a developer token, in my auth.ini configuration file there is a spot for an email and password.

Are these fields necessary? Should my MCC login details go in there?

Hello Doug,


Yes and yes. Developer token is used for billing only (API units)
while login and email are used for authentication.
