How to increase bid on a placement.

Good day, is there a way to increase a bid in a specific placement or page? Is there a sample code that I can base my structure into? I am using PHP.

Hi Ben,

You may refer to this section of our bidding guide on how to adjust bids for your CampaignCriterion. You may also refer to this PHP example for the code and just replace the Platform with the Placement criterion.

Hi Peter,

I did what you have suggested but I get this error "Uncaught exception 'Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201705\cm\ApiException' with message '[RequiredError.REQUIRED @ operations[0].operand.criterion.id]". Do I need to add criterionId?

Yes, you will need to set the ID of the Placement criterion and other dependent objects that you wish to modify. If the issue persists, kindly send to me privately, via the Reply privately to author option, the generated SOAP request and response so I can investigate further.

Can you guys show a sample code of increasing and decreasing bid for placement? I believe when you try it it should be url right? Im not sure.
