Hi Team,

Could you please share an example code snippet or clarify on the correct way to get the custom labels working for asset-based page feeds?

We followed the semicolon delimited approach as per this answer (pasted below), however on the UI we see that the labels are not exploded.
  • Custom label: This label will help you target ads within your page feed and adjust your bid per label. Enter one or more labels per row separated with a semicolon (;). For example, you can create custom labels for popular hotels based on their star rating. Each 4-star rated hotel can be labeled "FOUR_STAR"; "POPULAR_DESTINATION"; and so on.
Expected:
<page_url123, label1>, <page_url123, label2> -
Actual
<page_url123, label1; label2>

Please see the two example images attached 1) using the legacy DSA feed-based page feeds 2) asset-based page feeds

Hi Reddy,

This is Carmela from the Google Ads API team. Thank you for reaching out to us.

With regard to your concern, I understand that this is about page feeds. Having said that, you may check this API documentation which is about Dynamic Search Ads Page Feeds. Also, please note that the DSA page feeds are migrating from feeds to assets. You may see this migration guide for more details.

Also, you may also use this AssetService as this is for mutating assets. In addition, you may also see this documentation for the asset types.

Regards,
