Hi,

I'm writing an app to help clients (Currently only us) track click to purchase conversions across a path flow that cannot currently be done via normal methods. When the app launches for the first time (It is a desktop app, not a mobile app) it will send the cookie gclid of the original click on that device to Google. What auth requirements are there to use the Offline Conversion feed service? I have approved Standard access to the API. If I auth against the API with the account with API access is that enough? Do I have to have any additional permissions/auth for the Google Ads customer account that the original clicked Ad came from? I hope not!

Hi Scott,

Thank you for contacting support. If you have already created your OAuth2 credentials , then no further permissions should be required. To implement conversion tracking, you will then need to setup the appropriate ConversionTracker and you can find out more about it via our tracking and importing conversions guide.

Feel free to write back if you have any further clarifications.

Best regards,
Peter
