Waiting to hear about your test account?

Test accounts are generally marked as such within a business day or two - you don't need to wait for the email before you can start using it.

If your token has not yet been approved, requests made against your test account (after it has been marked) will succeed. Requests made before it has been made a test account will fail. You can make a request with an unapproved token to verify whether or not the account has been made a test account.

If you have an approved token, you can use the ManagedCustomerService to check if an account is test or not by requesting the "TestAccount" field in v201302: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201302/ManagedCustomerService.ManagedCustomer#testAccount

Hi all,

In general, the accounts will be marked as test accounts before you receive an email. The quickest way to test is to make a request against the test account. If you use an unapproved developer token and the request succeeds, the account has been made a test account. Approved developer tokens can use to TestAccount field to verify.

- 324-173-3804 - one of the two requested accounts was already serving (i.e. has campaigns), the other was made a test account (-9979)

- 945-772-2971 - is now a test account

225-310-4177 and 263-265-3518 have been made test accounts.
