Enums return code instead of description

Hello,

We are in the process of migrating Google Adwords to Ads API (with use of the Phyton client).

We determine that for the enums we receive a code from the Ads API instead of the description we receive from Google Adwords.  
For example:
- Slot : we get "SEARCH_TOP" instead of "Google search: Top"
- ClickType : we get "CALLS" instead of "Phone calls"

So while migrating, the report format / values are changing.

Is there a way, we can get the display value for the enum from Ads API ? What are the alternatives, if it is not supported by the API ?

Could you please tell us more details about the numerical codes that you've retrieved and provide the complete request and response logs with request ID? Is this code returned in the API response while using the client library? If so, kindly note that the retrieved numerical value of the enum will vary depending on the client library that you’re using to get it. With this, I recommend you to reach out to the respective client library owner by filing an issue on the issue tracker on the Issue tab of your chosen client library on the github, so that they can provide guidance on it.
