ad_group_ad_asset_view metrics query.

Hi Team, 

I am using ad_group_ad_asset_view table to get the ad and asset mapping. Just wanted to know that metrics (like clicks, impression) in ad_group_ad_asset_view, are they at ad level or at an asset level? I have read ad_group_ad_asset_view returns all metrics between an AdGroupAd and an Asset. What does it mean? Can anybody explain it ?
