Does Google Ads API support creating and managing YouTube (Video) campaigns?

Hi, 

We have a client who wants to promote their content on YouTube, they mainly work with Video campaigns.

From what we understand, the Google Ads API currently allows reporting on existing Video campaigns but doesn’t support creating or managing them. Could you please confirm if that’s correct?

Also, can you share when this feature is expected to be available, or if there’s any beta program we can join for early access?

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Please note that the Google Ads API only supports fetching and reporting on existing Video campaigns and their criteria. You cannot create new Video campaigns or update existing Video campaigns using the Google Ads API. For more information, I would recommend you refer to this guide. Also, refer to this campaign guide. If you wish to create a video campaign via the user interface, these instructions can guide you through the process.

I cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this feature in the API. I would recommend you to kindly follow our release notes and blog post for future updates.
