Question about calculating remaining budget using account_budget table

Dear Google Ads Support Team,

I would like to ask which fields in the account_budget table can be used to calculate an account’s remaining budget. If it’s not possible to calculate this value from the account_budget table, which table should I query instead to obtain the remaining budget?

Currently, I am using the following formula:
account_budget.approved_spending_limit_micros - account_budget.amount_served_micros
However, for some accounts, the result appears to be incorrect.

Could you please advise the correct way to calculate the remaining budget?

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

There is no resource in the Google Ads API that can help you fetch the 'Remaining account budget' data that you are referring to. I will raise a request for this feature to be supported in the API; however, this is subject to review. So, I cannot provide a scheduled timeline for its availability in the API. I recommend you follow our Release Notes and Blog Post for future updates.
