The new beta API is a bit confusing because it always returns a 404. It would be really helpful if it would return the actual error.
For example, a post request to https://googleads.googleapis.com/v0/googleAdsFields/campaign would return a 404 instead of a method not allowed error. A Get request to the same URL works fine.

You will be able to find the sample request and response that is supported by the respective service in the documentation. In this case, please check the Resource metadata guide for details. Thanks for sharing your feedback about API being able to return a user-friendly error instead of 404 page not found. I will share this with the team.
