Average Position unavailable in plan forecast metrics

Dear Google Ads API team,

It appears that the Average Position is missing from the Ads API forecast metrics while it is available in the AdWords API traffic estimator metrics.

Given the Average Position Is also available in the Keyword Planner GUI, could you please also add it to the Ads API forecast metrics?

Thank you for reaching out and for the suggestion. However, regarding your request, I'm afraid that the Average Position would soon be sunset. You may use other fields instead for more accurate measurements and you can refer to this article and this blog post for more information. I hope this helps.

Are there any plans to include those measurements to the plan forecast metrics as a substitute for the average position (returned by the old API's traffic estimator service)? (Re-posted the links as some of them were not pointing to the correct location in my original post.)
